This is the ominous trip after the first disboursement. Unfortunately, it was too late to take pictures of Brad, Trudy and the boys, and the weather got really bad after that - but you can still see progress! |
2005-12-10 Visit
After Thanksgiving, after the staircase was finished, but just in time to realize the house would not be completed in time. Sigh! |

A long visit (about two weeks) to make sure progress was swift towards the completion. Getting close! |

The house was supposed to be finished, but it didn't quite happen on time. There is still a lot that happened, though! |
2006-03-29 Visit
The house was supposed to be finished during this stay, but as usual things were slower than expected. I stayed for two weeks, there was lots of progress, but in the end it took another month before we were anywhere close to final. |

Of course by now it was too late for everything. I barely could hold on to the property, thanks to Brad's slowness. |

My birthday visit was supposed to be devoted to fun after leaving. I didn't leave - I didn't have fun. At least, I got the first window in! |

My first time in Hawaii without a return ticket. Worked on the house, checked out the stream, all in all peaceful (if it weren't for...)
